A note from the founder

We Started This Between Rounds of Pac-Man

In 2018 I was queuing for a cabinet at a Rivington Street barcade when a stranger handed me a scribbled route for a boss I'd been stuck on for weeks. That note fixed my run in one evening — and it made me realise the best gaming knowledge still travels by word of mouth. ArcadeRaidMasters.live is my attempt to write those notes down for everyone.

Everything we publish is played first, on real hardware and live servers, before a single word goes up. If a guide has not survived our own bad reflexes and worse internet, it is not ready. That is the whole promise.

How we cover a game

Four Scoops, Every Story

Close-up of an arcade joystick and buttons
1

Play It Ourselves

We log 12–20 hours minimum on original hardware or live servers before writing. No press-kit paraphrasing — every claim is one we earned on the sticks.

Notebook with hand-drawn game maps
2

Map the Route

Every raid and speedrun guide ships with a step-by-step route, timing windows, and the three mistakes that wipe most groups. Diagrams included, jargon explained.

Score It Honestly

Our reviews weigh feel, value, and staying power — never marketing beats. If a £59.99 launch is a mess, we say so, and we tell you when to wait for a patch.

4

Publish & Keep Updating

Guides go live every Tuesday and Friday, then get revised whenever a balance patch lands. Our archive is a living thing, not a graveyard of stale walkthroughs.

★★★★★
"Their Diablo IV season route got my clan clearing the tier boss in a single night. The timing callouts were spot on — nothing else online came close."
Callum R., Manchester · March 2025
★★★★★
"I trust their scores because they warned me off a £60 launch that everyone else was hyping. Two patches later they updated the review and I bought it. That's rare."
Beatrice H., Bristol · January 2025
★★★★★
"The retro deep-dives feel like sitting next to someone who was actually there in the arcades. I've rediscovered a dozen forgotten cabinets thanks to them."
Tomasz W., Edinburgh · February 2025
